You may be noticing some changes! How very keen of you.
Everything will be in a giant big mess for a couple days. Stuff will be broken, complaints will be filed, etc. Don’t even try to navigate to any of the other pages cept home… hehe…
Here are some notes:
A new system of content vs. excerpts. The blog will display the first post in full form and the rest in excerpted. What do you think?
This will be big on customization. I’m hoping to allow user-customization of colors, backgrounds, fixed vs. liquid, and choosing your own modules (calendar, last 5 posts, archives, categories, etc.).
Eventually, I’ll have a shoutbox for you to bitch at me from, but for now, here is fine

I like hot the reply box doesn’t fit in the with and that the text above it is totally unreadable. Also I like how the quote at the top repeats its self. I also like how the preview is unreadable. I also like the just hit refresh thing at the top.

ya, it’ll be expandable eventually. Once everything looks good on the main pages i’ll start working on some awesome style switching.
Oh, and I fail to see how spam is generated by my shortstat link. Individual spammers do not go to my site and check if I had a shortstat link. If they did that, they’d be able to bypass my ultimate anti-spam system (Are you a spammer?). All the links in shortstat are nofollow anyways….

Damn… well, I just got bumped off the “New Comments” list. Since it will otherwise go unnoticed, and this seems to be the post with all the action these days, I have an important news flash:
I MADE A COOL COMMENT ON INTELDESIGN. EVERYONE BETTER CHECK IT OUT.
It would be nice if you could put in some other way of announcing things like that.

Having nofollow makes no difference, the script has to be coded to pay attention to that, and… I don’t know how it creates spam… but Andrew K told me… I’ll trust him

Of course spambots wouldn’t listen to nofollow. But the googlebots would, so spammers wouldn’t gain anything from having their entries in my referrers list. Hmm…
