Finals - Striking Fear In the Hearts of all High Schoolers

except me-

Lets just say that I am a strange one. Maybe it’s because I am currently a freshman, or maybe it’s just because I’m taking hellishly easy classes, but I am not in the least bit worried about finals. I have maybe spent half an hour …total… studying for all of my three tests that are occuring this week. I am about to take my Geometry Honors final in about 10-15 minutes, and I am in homeroom, with a perfect opportunity to study and am I studying? No, instead I’m writing about how I’m not studying. I’m just not worried about this final. It probably helps that I could get 50% on it and still get an A in the class…but I have higher standards that that. Maybe it sounds like I’m bragging a bit much…actually it definitely does…but I’m just voicing my opinions on finals and studying.
No.1: Cramming….is dumb….duh….especially for classes such as math, you know it or you don’t. If you haven’t been able to learn it in the say 4 months you’ve been in class- you’re not going to learn it in one hour with a book.
No.2: It doesn’t affect your grade all that much. If it does, there’s an issue…
No.3: Good luck everyone!~ (I just had to put that in)

Yes I understand why some people spend all night studying their tails off and yeah I guess maybe it helps some people. Someday I am going to look back on this post and think, “wow, was I stupid back then or what?” because I will be in the process of studying for some big test that will majorly affect my grade. However, CRAMMING is not a good thing, and that will be maintained. As a result, I am off to math…hoping for the best :)

Wow Jackie… I need you to think about something for a second. Now, I don’t mind when people talk this way. When people are boastful or overly proud of their achievements, I generally understand, because I have a tendency to do so myself. But when I hear something like this from you, the one who was eternally on my case for being such a show off, that’s when this kind of talk pisses me off. A very fitting word comes immediatly to my mind…hypocrite. Now, I know you’re trying to be sensitive to all the people who actually have to try in school, but I think the best way to have done that would have been to just not written this shit. This whole post was completely unneccisary. You’re basically just calling anyone who studies a fucking moron. And that is one thing that even I make an endeavor not to do; putting others down in my moments of glory. Everyone will have there time to shine, and if studing is gonna help them get there, than you can’t put them down for that.
