I don’t think that human meet is that nutritious. They’d also have to eat other stuff too, how would they decide who was to be eaten? Sounds like there could have been a lot problems deciding who was to go next. Don’t you think.

Speaking of forums . Geoffrey (from scotland) and I are collaborating on creating new forum software…we going to call it xhtmlBB. I could easily hook it up and style it to be like this site. We’ve still got a load of work to do however.

Jackie, you’re dumb. If everyone is eating each other, then the population goes straight down the tubes. What will happen, is the As and Bs and Cs won’t be happy being eaten, so they’ll try whatever they can to stop being eaten. So the stronger ones, or more intellegent ones, will live on while the dumb weak ones getting eaten. Pretty soon, you’ve got some pretty buff braniacs trying to eat each other. It will become a war! There is no way for cannibalizim to exist forever peacefully.

whoa whoa…who ever said the animal kingdom was peaceful?? Ecosystems work because of the overall system. No one animal wants to get eaten. Their life goal is to proliferate as much as they possibly can, and they are stopped by others with the same goal. That’s how we are different. So far, we’ve done a damn good job of beating the system.

Yeah we’ve done a damn good job of beating the system…were about to ruin the system and then what will we have left. Maybe the animal kingdom seems like chaos, but we’re the only ones who go out of our way to harness everything around us for our own use.

maybe these three groups aren’t happy about being eaten, but they deal. Maybe antelopes aren’t happy about being eaten, so they run away from whoever’s hunting them. maybe the lions don’t like the antelopes running away, but they don’t make a huge effort to round all the antelopes up and chain them. Have you ever seen “The Lion King”… I think a couple of us need a reminder of some of the concepts Mufasa tells Simba about…

Concidering this is fiction, lets have alittle more fun. I have devised a way to solve 2 of the worlds greatest problems. Feed the homeless to the starving. Nomore homeless or starving, now the world is a better place for all. Kinda like the concept of the first post here.

Does this still happen, I just received pictures on how this is done andI couldnt beleive it,then I searched for this word canibalism and thats how I got here. This is damn out of line.I dont think God made us to eat each other never!

I’ve also jst recieved pics on such, this is so unbelievable n who on earth wud do such thing. I must say I don’t really believe that there are people who do that, for what good reason? We’ve got a whole variety of animals to choose from, why humans. This whole thing doesn’t make sence to me, there must be something wrong with people who live like that.

talk about being plain nasty, i can’t imagine eating a another mans body parts, id rather bahave like an appe and eat leaves.

i think its true that people eat each other, at least at an indirect manner. its the world of competition, we steal other´s resources (body?) to feed our own needs.
But the question (for me) is why to do a thing thats not needed? why to create a fake need of death end pain? If the only goal of mankind were to have strong and fat bodys surely i woud kill and eat anything, anyone that cold feed may hungry. But i (at least) have another goals, like spiritual/intelectual goals. Am i really a body, and nothing more? You may not believe-me, but i had experiences of being in superior mental planes, stopping to eat. Conscient dreams, etc. This world isent the real one (or the supreme one), in the core of existence we exist alone, without need eat or consume anything, we are self-existent, whole complete.
Its my humild opinion.

We are lucky that were not in the line of death as sacrifice or starvation. Eventhough there are people that are in that state of mind right now and to tell you the truth i dont want to cross his or her path. I might look apetizing.
